[Ning The Merciless]

"Citizen's Voice" (English for "Vox Populi") is a new Ning application I have added to Cosby co-operative to facilitate the growth of local citizen community engagement. It is designed to allow members of the Co-op to create campaigns addressing issues of importance to local folk. As an example I have already created a campaign around an issue near and dear to my heart, "Lawns To Gardens," advocating the advantages of turning our lawns into vegetable or flower gardens. Of course anyone who is a member may launch and advocate any campaign they like if only to see if there is any support for their ideas, and I encourage you all to do so. The application page also includes all other campaigns launched globally so there is a very good chance something near and dear to your heart is already being organized. The time has come for an awakened citizenry to shake the powers that be heard in their own communities. Such is the responsibility that comes with freedom!
